I grew up in a family (as so many boys do in this culture) that had clearly defined standards of what a man should be. I had to be tough. I had to beat people up. I had to be insensitive. I had to be a “man.”
I especially love this line "Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.". I can feel myself singing and dancing in the sunshine as I read it and it warms my heart and fills it with love for life.
